Federalism.
After reading this article I can understand how complicated the constitution and the goverment used to be in order ro get things in order. Back in 1700’s versus today’s structure of the country and the making of the laws were basically done by one person even though there were many heads trying to rule. Not good back then. What really got my attention was the Jefferson Sexual scandal, his relationship with the Slave Sally Hemmins. “The dark mistress” and how he was attacked for many times. This affected the country’s morality and views on the leadership, similar situation happened with President Clinton and his mistress “The White House intern”, I clearly remember how humiliating and embarrassing was for the President and his family. The country’s morality was also affected. Our country today faces not as many problems as far as a small groups of people making decisions for the goverment structuring but now the Congress has more control of the ways decisions are made in order to establish better laws and better outcomes to benefit the people. Is it perfect? Of course not, we are facing more moral issues than ever and hoping for a better future which lays on the congress’s hand.
