The Constitution and the Federalist.
After
reading this week’s assignment. I’ve
learned a bit more about our constitution.
The structure of how things were done in the past versus now. It is
important to mention that there were many efforts made to put the constitution
together in one document, in order to have the best country in the world. It is true where it was mentioned that
sometimes it is best to keep things in a smaller scale and not creating large
documents that may be confusing for the reader.
The
creation of the laws, terms of electoral votes, senates, House of
Representatives, Democratic and Republican Parties; all of these have their
rules and regulations to follow.
Unfortunately, some of the created laws especially in the voting system are
not the best when it comes to a fare decision for the community. A great example is the vote counts when
President Trump won the election because the smaller States had the most
“points” and not the most “Votes”; Mrs. Clinton would have won the presidential
elections by the popular vote as oppose to the electoral vote. All the immigration laws as well, many sudden
changes happening lately and the people are starting to question where all of
this is going? Clearly, “Waste of Votes” part of the article. It is very scary
the fact that our government currently it is not looking like the people in
charge are working “Together”, there is no balance in the system and it is
looking very messy, not only in front of the eyes of the citizens but also the
whole world.
Although
I agree that having a constitution is important, in the value that it instills,
our world, our country, our States are forever changing. The core values of the
constitution may be wise but should also be forever changing and not concrete
and be fluid with the progression of humanity and society.
